Shalimar Villas is a beachfront estate on Bali's southwest coast, specifically set up to host weddings, corporate retreats, and private events for up to 250 guests. Located directly on Seseh Beach right next to the traditional village of Pantai Seseh—and just next door to the popular Canggu area and Batu Bolong Beach—this 12-bedroom estate combines a quiet, natural setting with excellent event logistics. The Event Spaces The main event area consists of expansive, flat beachfront lawns that run the entire length of the property right down to the sand. Framed by towering coconut palms and set against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean and Bali's sunsets, this space is ideal for large celebrations, ceremonies, and outdoor dinners. The venue also features a permanent, white Palimanan stone stage, perfect for live music, entertainment, or traditional Balinese performances. Guests enter the estate through a grand entrance marked by a large stone sitting Buddha, with a walkway providing views across the surrounding rice fields. Accommodation & Layout Fully restored at the end of 2016, the estate features contemporary tropical architecture, large open-air living areas, and plenty of natural light. Shalimar Villas can comfortably sleep up to 24 overnight guests on-site. The property consists of three separate, fully detached villas that can be rented individually or together in modular configurations to fit the size of your group: - Villa Kalima: 6 bedrooms - Villa Makanda: 4 bedrooms - Villa Cantik: 2 bedrooms This layout offers great flexibility for events, allowing you to house the bridal party, family, or VIP guests in different villas. While each villa has its own private pool area and lush tropical gardens for individual privacy, the front lawns open up completely to create a single, massive beachfront venue for parties and events. On-Site Catering & Dining Logistics To support event hosting, the estate features a professional commercial kitchen located right next to the main entrance. For multi-day stays, the on-site staff can coordinate casual beachfront BBQs, traditional Indonesian-style group dinners, or formal sit-down meals (available upon request with advance booking) so everyone staying on the estate can gather and dine together.
